Nahant Beach, as shown on the map below, is one of the beaches on the narrow causeway connecting the town of Nahant to mainland Massachusetts, just 19 kilometers from the major capital city of Boston. The beach is part of a 27-hectare (67-acre) protected coastal reservation with recreational areas and various facilities. Nahant Road, the only route to the peninsula, runs through the reservation.
