This live HD webcam showcases the Fraser Point Bald Eagle Nest on Santa Cruz Island, California, USA. Located on The Nature Conservancy’s land, this nest was discovered in 2017 and is part of the Institute for Wildlife Studies’ over 40-year bald eagle restoration project. The female eagle (A-46) was the first bald eagle to hatch on the Channel Islands since the 1950s, emerging from the Pelican Harbor nest in 2006; the male eagle (A-64) is her sibling. The pair has been breeding since 2012 and successfully raised three eaglets in this nest in 2017. The camera provides color footage during the day and black-and-white at night, with a 4-hour rewind feature. The operator can remotely control the camera to capture the eagles and surrounding events.
