Connected to the mainland by the Måløy Bridge, the town is home to one of Norway’s key commercial ports and is a major fishing area. Vågsøy Island hosts one of the country’s most modern fish processing facilities. The nearest airports are Sandane Airport (Anda), 68 km from Måløy town center, and Ørsta-Volda Airport, approximately 100 km away.
