Watch Live StreamThe live webcam broadcasts a view of St. Benedict Square (Piazza San Benedetto) in Norcia, Italy. The camera is positioned at the Castellina Museum building and shows St. Benedict Square in real-time, featuring the St. Benedict monument at its center. On the right side of the stream, you can see the St. Benedict Monastery (adjacent to St. Benedict Square, damaged in the October 30, 2016 earthquake). The main basilica is dedicated to St. Benedict and is connected to the current Benedictine monastery, the St. Benedict Monastery. Although this building was constructed in the 13th century, it stands on the remains of one or more small Roman buildings, sometimes considered the birthplace of the twin saints Benedict and Scholastica. The Gothic-style facade is characterized by a central rose window and a relief depicting the four evangelists. Inside, there is a fresco of the Resurrection of Lazarus (1560) by Michelangelo Carducci. If the stream is interrupted, please refresh the page. For any questions, visit our contact page.
