Complementing the endless red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this waterhole is located in Gondwana Namib Park, bordering the Namib Naukluft Park. Built in 2006, the waterhole is situated in an open plain 8 km from Namib Desert Lodge. A solar-powered borehole fills a nearby reservoir, monitored by a water float that opens as levels decline. Due to its remote location in the Namib Desert, intermittent interruptions may occur.
